i guess the shipping on the EQ2 would be crazy, so where in SG can i get one and for how much?

should i also get an EQ mount from there? i read that mounts sold from the US cannot be used in equatorial countries. how can i modify them? if not where in SG can i get an EQ2?

what's the approx shipping price for such a scope? from vpost i calculated it'll be roughly $100 with insurance for just the OTA. is this method safe? or are there better places to get it from?

what is the condition of the 127mm mak?

Hi branzz, i haven't checked up on that scope yet, but as far as i know, you can get a 127mak + basic tripod and accessories here for as low as 700. any lower, i recommend you should first start with binos and save up... the 127mak is really good as a starter and i'm using it and i'm still using it...

thinking of getting the above straight from the US. does anyone use it locally? how does it fare? i don't have the budget to got for the 127mm.
