Celestron skyportal (Free! for IOS and Android)

Post by Bergkamp_ »

Recently i installed Celestron skyportal (free) on my iphone and i am surprised to see it is free and works like SkySafari 4 Plus (which i bought for my Android tablet) The 2 software pretty much the same which can control the telescope by wifi through the Celestron Skyportal Wifi module.

If you are looking for a good app for your phone. Get Celestron Skyportal. It is free and awesome! [smilie=happy.gif]

Even 'Google Sky Map' is good. It is also free on Android (not sure for iPhone).
I have been using the 'Celestron Skyportal' in conjunction with the 'Celestron Skyportal Wifi module' and it works well.
I just prefer to do the sky align using the hand controller on my Nexstar 6SE.
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
