It is like a moon halo. Only difference is the sun being the source of light.
Surprising that the noticed it though. I seldom look at the sun... painful for the eyes. Ppl too free in army nowadays.

Maybe looking out for Zero Fighters ala Pearl! Or probably "Whaaa! Sun Damn Hott!!!..." look up and notice Halo. Take picture become Hero!...HAHA
My wife never complained about how much time, effort & money I spent on my Astronomy hobby!................suddenly I met her!!!
