Hi Friends. Just a heads up for those thinking of going overseas for stargazing in late October 2011.
Wednesday the 26th of October 2011 is Deepavali Public Holiday. For those who are currently working, if you take 2 days leave before or after Deepavali, you can go potentially go for a 5 consecutive nights observing trip:
(1) 21 - 26 October = 25th Moon to 30th Moon
(2) 25 - 30 October = 30th Moon to 4th Moon
Pending the confirmation of my work schedules for these last 2 weekends, I should be going to Johor to observe during this period. Will most probably be a last minute decision base on the weather conditions.
