Saw this and was trying to find the aperture of the lens. Anyone got that info? Looking at the front of the bino somehow makes me think that it might not be suited for astro use.

It says f/1.8 to 3.4. sensor size is 1/4" 4.5mm. focal length equivalent to 35mm is 27.4-606mm. Prolly need some math here :D

1st we find the crop factor of the sensor.
Diagonal size of 35mm sensor / diagonal size of sensor in Dev-3
43/4.5mm = 9.5556x

Next we find the focal length of the lens
Equivalent focal length / crop factor
606mm / 9.5556 = 63.42mm

Then we find the diameter of the glass that is being used
Focal length / focal ratio
63.42 / 3.4 = 18.65mm

Not a big piece of glass here. Somehow I felt the human eye will be much more sensitive to light than this. Then again, I might be very wrong.
