For the benefit of singastro members who did not know Joo Beng, just wanna share that Joo Beng is the owner of astrobargains.

I am sure members would realize that whenever people ask for advice for purchase of scopes, apart from the usual astro-scientific at science centre or through buy-sell section, si-fus (seniors lah) would normally recommend astro-bargains also. This is because Joo Beng does offer some stuff which are priced lower than some local stores.

He has loads of experience and does not mind sharing his knowledge and unbiased opinions on what is the best recommendation for the buyer.

But let me say here I AM NOT TRYING TO SOLICIT BUSINESS FOR HIM HOR. Just some personal opinions. :mryellow:

Oops....gee... I'm afraid I totally missed this post (blush). Afraid I don't get to visit my favourite forum as much as I would like. Thanks everyone for the kind words, and thanks for the plug for Astro Bargains :-) Our common passion for the night sky (and for me now our closest star) has kept me running the business for 6 years now and it's always a joy to talk to fellow enthusiasts. Just let me know if I can help in any way!

Best regards!
Joo Beng.
