Hi,
Pentax had a new HD Pentax-DA 560mm F5.6 ED AW... approximately 859mm in the 35mm format. Look like Pentax took one of their telescope and convert to a Super-Telephoto lens...

Yup...Pentax just released a few products as part of the seasonal product launch. But then again, I already have a K-mount 600mm mirror lens already. :)

the mirror lens has a low strehl because of the central obstruction :mrgreen:

it's cats vs refractors all over again [smilie=blocked.gif]

Mirror lens usually very slow, no auto focus (I think only Sony one got AF) and bokeh not nice leh.

I know guys..was only sharing for fun lah...
I used it previously to image the moon. But now can't do it as my Pentax Kx has been sold off and now waiting for the correct timing to get the newer model :)
