Tablemate for Astronomy

Post by Airconvent »

Saw this advert on the TV today. They were selling this foldable table.
Looks very versatile for us to bring along on obs and to place our eyepieces and star maps or for laptops when imaging.
It slides over grass too. Would be an ideal item to replace all those odd table and attachment we use a tables. But it cost $49.90. Not too cheap but not too expensive either.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like an interesting table. Marketed by JML in Singapore (http://www.jmldirect.com.sg/index.php/table-mate.html).

According to the TV ad promo below, $59.90 *excluding* delivery charges. Sold for $25-$30 in various local group buying deals online previously.

I have one of those as well. Convenient as it folds flat but I find rather shaky. I'm OK with simply placing a laptop on it but I wouldn't trust it with my eyepiece case.
