the orion 12" dob is $1150 USD... not including shipping, GST, currency conversion...
Orly, Grandeye HK is selling it, price exclude shipping. He can do sea shipment to Sg port, then you have to do clearance yourself.

Meade Lightbridge Deluxe (HK$)

10" F/5 DELUXE $5,500
12" F/5 DELUXE $7,800
16" F/4.5 DELUXE $15,600

I'm contemplating a mass-market dobsonian but eventually if I want to upgrade I might want to sell.
Would you accept a 14" f/4.5 Dobsonian, standard mass market type (e.g. meade, Orion) but comes with Goto and tracking, say 3-5 years old in good condition for $2500?
Just wondering if there's any market if I decide to change my mind :)
14" prob too big and heavy for me. I'm basing this assumption on the Orion XX14G Goto Truss Tube though.

Thanks for the heads up :)
Unfortunately Orion will absolutely not support re-sold items, not even for paid repair services so I'm extremely wary of buying anything electronic at all from Orion that can't be replaced with after-market parts.
