Lightning@SG - free real-time lightning service launched

Post by Gary » Wed Oct 09, 2013 9:39 am

Just installed this free app in my phone. Gonna play around with it. See if it's useful for organising local and johor stargazing trips. :)

Gary,

Thanks for alerting us on this new app.
It is definitely useful.

However, we really also need the cloud radar forecast for stargazing and imaging.
Do a three day forecast and cloud radar to show which part Sg cloudy or will be cloudy.
If you got connection to NEA kindly highlight to them to provide cloud@sg

Btw if NEA or Met Dept reading in PLEASE please look into this request.

Regards,

@Beginner - Glad you find it useful. I have no special connections to NEA so I hope they read what you have written too! :)

Haha. Singapore should make use of its unique status as lightning city of the world to generate more tourism dollars. :)
