The ISS has a fantastic filtration device that never needs cleaning and can last for months filtering urine into pure drinking water. I think it is based on enzymes that break down urine particles...

Hi,
In space station, everything need to recycle as much as possible. Re-supply are just too expensive, so cannot be done often. So Recycle, Recycle, and Recycle... whose urine I drink today??? Ha Ha..... :P

Whois shit am I eating today?haha just joking. The solid waste is just to poisoness to be recycled. If in the near future they do plan to recycle it I wonder what will shape will they make it...cake anyone? 8)
