Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival in Johor

Post by astrobabe »

Seems that no one took the initiative to organise a Mid-Autumn Festival get-together ob session specially for SingAstronomers so I'll start the ball rolling.

Is anyone interested to attend this?

Event: Mid-Autumn Festival + Sales Launch of new Banyan Water Village
Venue: Leisure Farm Resort
Date: Sat 7 Oct 2006
Time: 12 - 8pm
Details: Free mooncakes, pomelos and tea will be served. At night, lanterns will be hung around the central Canal Park and fireworks will darn the sky. Come to experience the magic!

Did you mean this in a "DSO/Dark Sky fan" way or is that a typo? :)

Erm...I meant REAL fireworks. Not those wonderful bling-bling in the sky.

Maybe it is also a typo: "... fireworks will 'adorn' the sky...." ? Sounds interesting, if there are people driving up....

Pardon my Ing Grishhhh....

Just to clarify something in case someone repeats this question - is this a commercial event that I'm advertising for self-gains?

To be truthful, this is a 2-in-1 event organised by the developer to invite outsiders to come and visit the estate, as well as enjoy the free food, activities and beautiful ambience/environment. On the other hand, guests are also invited to view the sales exhibits if they're interested to purchase any property there.

I do not stand to gain from this since I'm not a sales person. Hmm...what a pity huh? ;)
