Time to dust off your astro gear and let some starlight pass through them.

I did notice that last night was very clear around 8pm - 9pm. It did cloud out later (around 1am). Was too tired to haul out the gear though. And since my balcony only gives a view of the western sky, it's hard to do proper GoTo aligns.

Yea. Was obing last nite at the Toa Payoh sky garden from 9pm till midnight. After obing Saturn and some star clusters with my Mak 5" + FR (giving approx 1.7 deg fov), tried some filters + binoviewer on the Moon. After testing the first, was about to test the remaining 3 when the clouds rolled in. Packed up and went for supper.

After supper, the clouds gone again! LOL. :) The 2 stars sandwiching M57 can be seen with naked eyes. Wanted to continue Round 2 at home but the carb from the heavy supper kicked in and went to bed instead. :)

Philippines look clear also. Your buddies there should be having a wonderful time too.

Predicted to hit Japan on Tuesday:

Hopefully, there will be no damage caused.
