airconvent: actually i used to modify netbooks. I did a touchscreen/3G modem mod to a eeePC 701 many years back. But the form factor just can't be beaten.
I happened to be a DIY hobbyist as well...

i do this kind of things :P

A fellow mod on ppcsg.com (now known as mobinauts.com ) used to own one and I played with it before. You can consider a Toshiba Libretto too or a tiny kochinsha? mini notebook normally found at the Besta counter in Popular. Cheers

Man that is gruesome! Luckily my PC upgrading days are over...phew..:)

sorry to OT. :) will be more careful.

well. it's not just for fun. Fan noise drives me up the wall. This is a fully water cooled (short of the power supply that is..)
