Hi all, recently bought a Shywatcher Heritage 130P, but I realised that the RDF provided is incredibly difficult to use. I'm therefore looking for a small to mid-sized perpendicular finderscope that can help to ease things.
Looking for a quick deal, we'll talk about the price. If you have an offer, kindly PM me ASAP on this platform, and I'll get back to you within the day. Thanks a lot!!!!

Re: [URGENT] WTB: Perpendicular finderscope
Hi there, I have replied to your PM. Thank you so much for the recommendation, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for. I need one whereby the exit pupil is perpendicular to the rest of the finderscope, so I can view it from the side while it is pointing straight up. Thanks a lot though, do strongly appreciate your help!wucheeyiun wrote:HI DCWZ...

The AWB or SW heritage130 don't have the common "synta shoe" trapezoid shape base bracket , means you cannot directly attach the common relatively cheaper RACI finders under brands Synta , SW , GSO , Orion.
Unless you get the finder shoe bracket separately and be willing to drill into the telescope tube.
example of what synta shoe looks like

also note that once you start to buy these optical glass accessories you need to invest in dry storage too, as simple as airtight container with "thirsty hippo clones" , or else the finderscope & eyepieces start to grow fungus visibly after ~2years.
