a nice 6" newtonian that i have used to spy on Orion, Pleaides, Antares, Vega, split Castor, Albeiro, viewed Jupiter, Mars, Venus as crescent, Saturn. peeked into jewel box. This is the scope that had opened my eyes to alot of the beauty the night sky has to offer. I am the fifth owner. and i can say it is a wonderful scope. it holds its collimation well. I have added a tweak to ensure the secondary stays in place.

It only supports 1.25" ep. on a normal RnP focuser. It has a rich history in this forum. and has stood the test of time to prove it is still able to delight anyone viewing with it.

Astroslew Inox

This mount is a very rare mount and only a handful are made and sold. Each Inox comes with a serial number and this is number 23. each of this is machine crafted using aluminum. built to be steady in any condition. this is indeed a heavy duty Alt-Az mount built to handle telescope up to around the range of 12kg. with 2 tension knobs, one can easily control and move the scope to any object. Will be had to balance the scope initially because it is very smooth. once it is balanced, the control will feel like it is feather weight. with a slight turn of the tension knob, you will be able to lock the scope to prevent it from moving.

Most of my viewing is done with this mount and i have brought it to Bishan park, Ang Mo kio, Bedok Reservoir while staying in tampines. adjusting the legs allow me be able to either view closer to the zenith or lower to the horizon just above the HDB blocks.

for those who want to look at the pic.. the red markings were to help me know the cg of the scope with the tube rings.
the black rectangle patch is a piece of industrial grade velcro. initial idea is to stick my phone to the bottom n i get a goto, or at least kind of.. failed attempt as the base is metallic and interfered with the magnetic sensor of the phone throwing the skeye app off alignment.
being sold at least 5 times it does have its bits of wear n age showing, but optics is still great and sure holds its collimation very well!
