WTS : MN152 (6", f4.9 Maksutov Newtonian)

Hi all, selling my beloved Explore Scientific Maksutov Newtonian, bought it from Robin in time for Comet Lovejoy.
This scope has a corrector plate in the front which allows for excellent performance without additional corrector for visual and astro-photography up to APS-C.
The carbon fiber tube looks nice, offers high rigidity and gives it a very low thermal focus shift when imaging.
Thumbscrews make collimating the primary and secondary mirror a breeze.
Optics are clean and fungus free. Some dust on the mirror, but it won't affect performance much so I don't clean it.

The image below is the most recent photo of M20 I took with this scope in June this year.
It was not collimated properly due to some shitty collimator from taobao i used. Safest way now is still to eyeball the collimation.

Selling as i realized I am not as young as I used to be. On paper, it is 7kg, but it seems heavier than that with the mount and accessories.
This weight and bulk won't be an issue if you drive or go to the gym daily.

Asking Price: $600
PM me to deal.

Deal includes:

- Mn152 Maksutov Newtonian and Dew shield
- Extension rings and standard adapters
- Cheshire Collimator (Orion)
- Tube Rings and dovetail
- Carry Handle
- Finder scope and 50mm finder rings
- 3rd Party Carrying case (bought for $150 with wheels)
