WTS C8 SCT (SOLD)

Hi,
To finance new scope I will like to sell C8 previously got from Arief.
The scope was serviced by Astro-Scie.....(Proof of reciept-$200)
Previous 1st owner got water marks on primary mirror but it have cleaned and no effect on the optic.
Complete Setup
- Celestron C8 Schmidt-Cassegrain OTA with Starbright Coatings
- Celestron C8 Fork mount and Wedgepod (integrated wedge and tripod with tracking possibility built-in)
- Celestron 6x30mm finderscope
- Celestron 1.25" Visual Back
- Bob's Knobs
- Orion flexi dew shield for 8" SCT
-Telrad base
-Price: SGD1250

Cosmetic and optical condition is 8.8/10 (can check with weixing for his review)

optically, this is one of the best c8 i had owned, should be 9/10.

looks like many ppl now planning for upgrading
weixing: 6" newt to c8
david lian: c8 to c9.25 (right, david?)
liu ming: 4.5" apo to m703 dlx?
me: 7" raycraft to 10" zambuto :-)
cc: 8" zambuto to 12.5" zambuto :-) :-)

anymore???

Wah this really a good deal since the mount and tripod is included. I had a chance to use this scope during one of the Tuas observing sessions and the built-in slow motion controls are a joy to use. So many C8s for sale now! :) I wish I had so many choices when I first joined the hobby. I paid an obscene amount for my first scope :) :bangwall:

Arief, my 12.5 shld be 'delivered' later this year. Can't wait.. :D

Hi,
weixing: 6" newt to c8
Not upgrading la... decided to keep my 6" Newtonian for another "season".. :P Will spend this "season" doing a DIY computerise GP mount... hee hee :P

The scope was sold this afternoon.
Thank to those who enquired and those good words given.
It is sad to part with my "faithful" :cry: but need money to find the next bigger one.
