Reviving this old thread. I'm looking for a finder shoe for my nexstar 4se. Have an Antares 9x50 finder that I would like to attach.

The two mounting screw points on the nexstar are about 26mm apart I think.

Hi,

Vixen finder shoe had holes of 20mm apart, I mean centre to centre of the hole, don't know it will fit your scope. Alternatively, the holes can be expanded wider to the 2 ends to fit your scope.

Hi alweek,

get the RDPS model because the groove allows for more flexibility. It has so far been able to fit onto both a 6 and 8 inch OTA. Should be ok for 4SE.
