C8 is my first 'real' scope. It's still with me and I will not sell for sentimental reasons... :)
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

Congrats! But I think it's getting abit OT here.

I think there was a great mount on offer here awhile ago.. if your concern is the C8 has no mount, why not get that? Then your "mistress" will be "complete".. haha
Stargazing ... is an excuse to stay up past bedtime that never fails!

Thanks to all for your well wishes. :)

This C8 was flown in from the US by one of the administrators, not KingKong's :)

haha ... I am thinking of getting a mount for it, but not so soon if I do ... just thinking maybe I should sell this one and then buy a whole set in future when I'm ready ... :)

I think he wants the other 'mount'. And not just spreading the tripod legs. [smilie=wet.gif]

Just took it out to take photos ... man!! I'm so close to withdrawing the sale ... haha ... the C8 looks much nicer in the light compared to how I always see it in the dark! :)

Anyway, pictures coming soon! ;)
