Bro, accept offers ONLY with half pier. They're as rare as hen's teeth here and bringing one in will be expensive, to say the least.
Soz, my SXW is spoken for but my SXD deal seems to be stalling. Sigh!

yeah the SX half pier is $200 usd for a lousy piece of aluminum!

well... the Orion SkyViewPro 16" pier extension works with the GP/GPD2. Am not sure if the mounting points on the Sphinx are the same.

i am using the Orion SVP pier which is like $80 USD. the problems..

1) it's steel and very VERY heavy (so.. shipping it will also cost you some moolah)

2) it's 16" long which is too long... i had rlow's help to cut mine into two (you only really need about 6"... which is more stable and a lot less heavy). Here's the cut-down version:
