Hi Jim
Can you provide more information about the Kasai OIII and super nebula filters? Any reviews or transmissibility specs? Thanks.

More specs on KASAI filters........

Post by Jim McGill »

Hi All,

Thanks for the queries.

Right now we only have 1.25" filters. Very limited at a very low price of only $100 ea. It's sold in Europe at 149Euros.

Both filters come with graphs to prove their authenticity.

The Super Nebula is similar to Lumicon UHC while the OIII is similar to Lumicon O3.

The graphs show bandpass width taken at 50% of the transmission peak, ie. 2 wavelengths can be found at middle of graph. For SN, it's about 23nm while that of O3 is about 13nm.

We'll display these filters (if still available) at our coming Star Parties in various parts of Singapore. About 10 telescopes and binoculars would be on show. Stay tuned.
