Astrobargains - 5*

Post by Debash »

Not sure if this is the right place but just wanted to provide my feedback on Astrobargains.

It's a great alternative for those looking to buy new items directly from the US from the OPTs/JMIs of the world. In my case (DSC encoder set+ mounting kit for S$486 nett as compared to US$275+ shipping+GST) the price was cheaper than importing option and hassle free. Just hope that there is enough business to keep them going...need to support such vendors.

Thanks, Joo Beng!

Couldn't agree more... :-)
Understand that each of the items are hand-carried from US! they now have Celestron CPC 800 in stock.

Yep. Got my Telrad from them. Excellent price, and best of all, no waiting time! Got it on the same day I decided to buy.

Cheers!

Great to hear good feedback about a local vendor w good prices. :)

Anyway David, one advantage of the Telrad over the Rigel is that it uses AA instead of button batteries, so it is easier on the pocket if you forget to turn off the pointer.

cheers

p/s: anyway I have shifted this thread to Vendors Corner as a form of feedback for potential customers.

yup...good prices and best of all, these people seem to be in the business to promote astronomy, not make a real profit, that is why they have been able to keep prices so good.
nice job astrobargain!

rich

btw, also bought something from robin low from mcgill as well. he's also an astronomer (got alot of stuff in his show room apartment and service is friendly...)

To all our customers, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Do help us spread the word to other amateur astronomers who need equipment and we'll certainly see what we can do to give them a good deal.

We will be announcing July's promotions in a separate post, so do look out for it, or visit our still emerging website !!

Best regards !

Hi, astrobargains, I do hope that you can carry Televue products in the future.

Hi Denebman,

Thanks for your feedback. We are coincidentally trying to figure out how to bring in more Tele Vue products. Do you have a wish list of which range you would like to see ? E.g. Naglers, Panoptics, Radians, Plossls, etc ?

Best regards !
