is it 20mm or 12mm Kellner?

The new PSTs now come with a 20mm Kellner. But some users prefer the 12mm.

i don't think it matters what kind eyepiece you are using since you are looking at the sun?

I think it's about f.l. Even with 18mm Cemax the disc fits in the FOV comfortably. The 12mm Kellner gives adequate magnification to view the proms. However, my favourite is the 8mm SM.

Sorry for the error, it's the 10" & 12".
The new PST c/w 20mm Kellner.

A good wide angle quality eyepiece in the range of 12-15mm will show the full disk at its best. A 6-10mm with barlow will enable higher power viewing of sun prominences in its full glory. The Cemax range of eyepieces from Coronado will probably add a little more contrast to the view. But for ulitimate best 3D view only with a good quality Bino Viewer w/good pair of eyepieces. Will try that with a Max60 & DenkII & Meade 14mm UWA these few days. Anyone want to join me!
