STARMATRIX PENTAX CHRISTMAS SALE

Post by MikeMathews »

Hi Singastro,

STARMATRIX CHRISTMAS TELESCOPE SALE III
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

PENTAX REFRACTORS OTAs
---------------------------------------------
75SDHF - SGD$2200 (AVAILABLE FOR DEMO)
105SDP - SGD$8900
125SDP - SGD$14800
150SDP - SGD$ENQUIRE

100SDUFII - SGD$5500 (AVAILABLE FOR DEMO)

Note: All Pentax refractors are made to the highest quality.
Astronomers in Japan prefer the Pentax range of refractors for imaging
over Takahashi. However if you are doing strictly visual studies, you
should consider Takahashi refractors instead. Pentax refractors
feature an external coating that is more durable and elaborate. All
refractors have a retractable dew-shield and feature a built-in field
flattener already. Technically, they are known as astrographs and can
be used for imaging without the need for additional optical
accessories. All prices listed do not include Pentax finders and tube
rings (except for the 75SDHF, which is included). Prices for all other
Pentax accessories and eyepieces (XW, XO, XP) are available on
request.

ALL PRICES ARE INCLUSIVE OF GST, INTERNATIONAL INSURED SHIPPING, AND
SPECIAL DIRECT DELIVERY TO YOU, OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS.

Mike,

Any reason why the Pentax 4" and 5" are more exp than similar aperture AP and TMB scopes?

they come with dedicated built-in field flatteners. i know it is going to be controversial here, but the mechanical quality of pentax telescopes are undisputed. They are just not as popular and well known in the States, but immensely popular amongst Japanese imagers.
