It does look exactly like the normal "semi-apo" Megrez 80.
I wonder if they are exactly alike. If so, then it makes sense to emulate Borg, i.e. allow owners of the semi-apo megrez 80 to upgrade by purchasing a lens cell.....probably would cost a bomb though...

It does look exactly like the normal "semi-apo" Megrez 80.
I wonder if they are exactly alike. If so, then it makes sense to emulate Borg, i.e. allow owners of the semi-apo megrez 80 to upgrade by purchasing a lens cell.....probably would cost a bomb though...

You're quite right about the 'bomb' part. This is a triplet apo objective with a *fluorite* element you're talking about here. 8)
