Who says we don't sell 5" Maksutov Cassegrains ?

Available in Singapore exclusively from Harlequin Astronomics.

Complete package will include :

- APM-Germany designed 130mm Maksutov Cassegrain OTA with flip mirror system and mountrail

- HA-EQ4 mount w/tripod

- 10x50mm finderscope w/dual ring bracket

- *** 26mm Super Plossl

- additional thread on 45 degree erect image diagonal

S$1395.00 NETT for Singastro members.

( *** : we originally intended to include 03 x Super Plossls in the package, but after some consideration, we felt that this may be a source of unecessary costs for the buyer, so we will just include 01 x Super Plossl and the buyer is therefore free to decide what other eyepieces to get if he/she really needs them. The good news is - eyepieces, barlow lenses and/or filters ordered with this scope will be entitled to discounts off our regular prices)

Demo set now available for viewing !

No harm reminding u since ur previous ads almost always lack pricing details. Post the prices here for all to see; no need to use PMs and have members ask about prices over and over again. This will help to reduce the number of unnecessary post in this forum. Juz look at http://www.singastro.org/viewtopic.php?t=350 and u will know wat I mean. Thank you for ur cooperation.

what is the focal ratio of this fella?

Also, can the rear fits onto standard SCT accessories?

It's an f/15. Currently, the information I have on hand tells me that the rear port accepts only the threaded 1.25" prism diagonal made for it, like the way the ETX's rear port accepts only ETX threaded accessories for the series.

I will be able to find out much more when I have it in front of me once it arrives in Singapore sometime next week.

Can a model with a goto drive and/or motor drives option? ;) ..... it would be a bonus all as there will be choices for them :)

hmm, price seems attractive :) Two questions:

- Are there currently any reviews of this scope on the web?
- Is the EQ4 mount suitable for use in our latitude?

cheers
