Fun Telescope more for fun, not pro use........
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The adapter tube is meant for eyepiece projection with a Vixen digicam adapter.
If you are using prime focus photography with your DSLR, simply connect a T-ring directly to the focuser of the R130Sf. so you don't have to use the adapter tube in this case.
Of course, it might be an overkill if you expect good and sturdy image from a DSLR camera body mounted to this fun telescope!
But to a beginner, this telescope is quite an awesome buy.
