We are proud to introduce the NEW heavy duty, high transportable ecuatorial Mount HoO LN1
Our Mount conjoint many features, other Mounts don´t offer in this kind
of constellation, or even know!!
The photographical payload capacity is 35 kg.
Here a few initial informations about this new parallactical Mount:
- high transportable, splittable mount cross
- setting and aligning with out any tools possible
- any time choosing long or short RA Axis
- build in dimming illuminated polar aligning scope
- variable friction clutches in both Axis
- settable Polar height 10° - 80 °
For more informations about our new Mount, please follow this link

Hello,
I suppose when you say "settable Polar height 10° - 80 °", you are referring to the latitude setting? In this case, then it is not suitable for Singapore since we are 1°22'.
Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin
when you set a Mount, there you may have a position posibility from 0° to 90°
When we write the setting height is possible up from 10° to 80° so you have 70° settings positions.
Singapore is 1,22° north of the Equator, in this case we are able to change the polar mounting in such variation, you can use the mount also in your lines of latitude.
Regards

5000 EUR and 14 arc-sec peak-to-peak PE (+/- 7).
As noted by one of the posters, "+/- 7 seconds isn't a tolerance; it is 14 arc seconds peak to peak. This means this mount has twice the periodic error of an Astro Physics Mach1 GTO at a higher price."

Where did the 5000 EUR come from? It was stated above 3863 EUR with shipping included, that works out to be slightly over 7k SGD. Almost half of what a Mach1GTO would cost.
I noticed there are different options for the drives. It would be interesting for the vendor to state what is included in the 3863 EUR package for others to make a fair judgement.

Actually I was also on that CN thread. My mistake, the web site says 4399 EUR + shipping so we all figured about 5000 EUR to the US.
It would be cheaper in SG due to removal of the 19% EU region VAT (although you'd need to add the 7% GST).
From the web site:
"The automatical GOTO drive can be done by optionally FS2 drive, or a Little Foot PE drive. We have tested the mount with both motor drives, so here you can choose your favorite motor drive. We are shure, also the British AWR motor drive can be fitted. Also the Boxdörfer drives or the LF Power drives can be used."
So. the FS2 and Boxdorfer are quite well-known (and expensive! 800 Euro for the FS2). Am not sure if any GoTo or drive is included in that 3863 EUR price.
Frankly, I'm with the CN guys. At this price range the AP Mach1 is a safer choice. Not to mention nicer looking!
Although me, I drool of getting a Tak NJP eventually. Discontinued, about 4K USD used.

Hi @all
the price for Singapore for this Mount, will be with out the german VAT 3863 Euro, plus shipping cost.
In this price you become
- the Mount, incl. the counter bar shaft
- 10 kg counterweight (steel)
- illuminated polar aligment scope
- mounting base plate
What about the gears with its +/- 7" this is the same as we would write, the PEC is 14". The only difference is, that this PEC comes all 12min, where the most mounts have a lap of 4 to 5 min. We offer +/- 7" or better.
This means, in 12 min you don´t have to expect a higher PEC as somewhere 7", what any kind of Autoguider is able to conduce any kind of images.
For observing and sky hopping, the PEC doesn´t have any importance.
I saw yet the CN reports about this mount. Ofcourse we can not concour with US prices in their dimensions, but also there the mount would cost the same price as for Singapore, plus shipping cost. So they only compare the german price with the US market.
Comparations with the Losmandy G11, our mount don´t have to fear, because many features we have build in, the Losmandy does not know.
So there is for ex. the problem with the motors. A Losmandy G11 may be in danger, when you positionate your telescope in such constellation, that the motors can bump one eachother.
Further by managing long tube Refractors or Newtons, our mont can be setted with a longer kind of axis. No other mount in the world can offer this feature.
So the comparations can not be make 1:1, there allways would be differences in the systems.
