attaching multiple image files.

I am trying to attach a couple of jpg files as attachments to a post, but I get an error saying invalid file while the file can be easily opened in windows photo ot gimp or irfanview.. The files are just 100KB files..
Tried drag and drop or add files option but get the same results.
