After making a thorough inspection of the BO and WO binoviewers, I have no doubt they come from the same manufacturer. Both look and feel very well made. Externally, the WO is more refined with nicely anodized barrels and a pair of very nice, individually focusable ep holders with compression rings. I am amazed at how smooth the helical focusers are. Folding and unfolding of the binos to suit your eye spacing is also accomplished very smoothy and firmly.

The Denk feels slightly heavier than the BO/WO pair. Very surprisingly, the body castings of the Denk are of lower quality than the BO/WO. Joints are slightly ragged and there are uneveness on the surface from an imperfect mold. The ep holders are 'self-centering' whatever that means. There are no individual ep focusers.

to be continued...

For now, after 2 hours observing Mars using both the Denk and WO on Mars, the short answer is: no (at least for high power planetary use...). Will write more after further observations. Also, have not done much evaluation of DSOs yet. Scope used is an ETX90RA with excellent optics. I have sold the BO unit...
