Hi,
The Sky-Watcher 120mm F8.3 Achromatic Refractor OTA arrive today afternoon. The sky was still quite clear and sunny after I receive the package, but clouds start to gather once I start to unpack it. Sorry for the clouds and raining nights. Anyway, it’s better to be today rather than weekend night, right??? =P =P =P

By the way, the OTA come in a Bushnell box... Hmm... ??? Hope he didn't give me a Bushnell scope.

Anyway, only the OTA is in the white box and all other items that include in the OTA is package beside the white box with bubble wrapping material. Overall, quite well protected.

wah...congrats on your new toy wx!
hope to be able to see it in action soon....
now all you need to do is paint it white, slap on a Singapore Polytechnic logo (which looks like a certain japanese brand logo from afar!) and you can pretend its a Fluorite Apo scope!

ps can take another photo with OTA unwrapped or not?

The refractor is come with a objective cap to cover the objective lens when the dewshield is not in place, but the cap is not very fit and can come out quite easily.

Well, I guessed it! The sudden thunderstorm yesterday didn't come from nowhere! I expect it to see virgin light this weekend! Please specify date and time!

Cheers!

The dewshield is also nicely wrapped to prevent scratches.

Err... perhaps the loose objective cap is meant to be used on the dew shield instead?
