Hi all,

Just a brief review of Megrez 72.

Chromatic Aberration:
Very very tiny bit of green around the full moon, but you must look really hard to find it. High power star test shows the usual slight coloration just inside or just outside focus.

Collimation:
High power at 129x (45x per inch) shows perfect collimation with slight undercorrection.

Contrast:
Very high, moon features show good contrast even though its full moon. Managed to see Omega Centauri at 21x even though the moon is so nearby! (but averted vision needed)

Conclusion:
Very portable sharp scope. Focuser is very smooth but the part where the focuser can rotate is a bit rough. Be careful that it has a large back focus, you will need a 2" diagonal to use it visually to reach focus.

Is it the one with the 72mm Aperture with the 432mm focal length?

Yes this is the 72mm 432mm scope. But apparently, it has disappeared from William Optics Online Shop already.
