Astrosat, an Indian dedicated multi-wavelength Astronomy satellite launched in September 2015 became fully operational in Oct 5, 2015. This article explains how the X-Ray detectors work in the telescope and provides a good narrative about how they are observing Crab Nebula, the first light target.
