After 19 years doing astronomy, I fully agree with him. We should really share more, view more and complain less about the rotten skies and modest equipments.

Recap:
1) Show others the sky.
2) You can observe, even in the city, just do it.
3) Stop worrying about equipment.
4) Make a list of what you want to observe, tonight and far into the future.
5) Get with some other observers and share the fun.

lol, some things i agree. sharing is fine, but bitching about the skies, i think i'll continue doing that. maybe if he lives in a small island at the equator, badly light polluted with cloudy nights 95% of the time, he'll do the same as me.
