Hi all!
I'm new to this forum, and I have just started this new hobby which I am really excited about! Just wondering if there are any upcoming gatherings for viewing? I just got myself a Celestron Omni 127 XLT from Science Center, as I intend to do astrophotography when my knowledge picks up....
Any tips for a newbie like myself? I don't really know what I'm looking when I stare at the skys thou... haha
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jonarsh. Welcome to the forum and the hobby!
Weather permitting, Science Centre have weekly Friday evening observation sessions and AGASTRO (www.agastro.sg) have weekly Wednesday sessions. My astro buddies and I conduct sidewalk sessions at Toa Payoh Central when the weather is clear. We should be conducting one this weekend fri/sat/sun. You can check the Events and Observation subforum for the latest announcements of upcoming events.
Good luck and have fun!

Hi Jonarsh. That's a beautiful shot of the Moon! Thanks for sharing and showing us what the Celestron Omni 127 XLT is capable of doing. For the posting of your future astro photos, please don't feel shy but post them at the astrophotography subforum where they truly deserved to be!
