Hi,Gary
Thanks for the reply and the setup works really well. Now my daughter is suggesting to me to explore/look at binary;variable stars using skeye.;as 'recognising 'the stars is much easier now.
No expensive battery, complicated electronic controlled mount ,complicated computers with expensive programmes+complex wiring--just a simple setup.Enjoy!!

Interesting! You have just constructed a rudimentary "push-to" system! :)

Hi,Airconvent
Yes,and I think better than those push to system. With slow motion enabled, you can do afocal
photography too.;and this way of navigation thr the night sky will work for ANY scope--including
the Dobsonian and do away with those complicated encoders.Simplicity and it works.Of course
if you are in those astro-photography which photo objects which you CANT SEE ,then there is
no substitute for those complicated computers,CCD,encoders and what not.Thanks.
