The stars have aligned, yet again.

Post by Grievous »

Hi everyone,

I guess re-introductions are in order:

Charlie here (who have probably bought the first William Optics FLT110 in Singapore a decade earlier, wonder who is holding on it now?), I was fairly active in the stargazing scene a decade++ earlier leading the NP Astro Club as president.

So what brought me back, you may ask?

Just earlier this week, I saw a familiar visitor's face in my office which I swore I thought I knew who he is. A quick check with my receptionist confirms my suspicion to be the one and only Remus Chua, albeit very much bulked up from what I remembered a decade earlier. What are the odds?

Well, here am I again - married with 2 kids, a dutiful husband, still keeping my eyes up on clear nights and a decade of threads to catch up with.

Looking forward to knowing you all, again. :)

Hi Junwei,

My memories have failed me but I do remember that I had not attend any Mersing trips before. My last appearance locally could be at the 2005 Mars Watch at RP when their campus is at Redhill.

haha..welcome back Charlie. Last I heard you were lurking at Marine Parade CC Astro Club though I've never been there. The stars will always be there your whole life, so welcome back to fish for ancient photons again..

Hey Airconvent! Hope the skies have been kind to you all these years!

Funny thing though, I myself have not been to Marine Parade CC Astro Club as well... Even though I have been staying in the East for the past decade!

Hey Charlie! Yes I fondly remember you. Oh no! You should come look for me when I was at your office. I may be there again soon. Think the last we met was Equipment Festival 2002? Time passes in a moment isn't it!
