Hello experts!

Newbie to telescope ownership here. Have been toying around with a 12x50 for a few months and only recently, made purchase of Orion ST80. Should reach the shores in a few days. Does upgrading the focuser to a Crayford worthy? Or should i just save up for a more decent scope?

For high power observation, I find a dual speed Crayford to be god sent. But the ST80 is not really a high power telescope. For low power and wide view observation, I don't think the upgrade is necessary.

Thanks for the tips! I'll save it up when i get a mak or SCT then.
