In my opinion for daytime viewing , small size refractor give better color contrast than catadioptric scope such as this combo of lens+mirror.

You can add some reversible modification to recover part of the lost contrast, such as a lens hood extension off the front of the scope, to reduce the strong off-axis light going into the scope interior. Diameter 1.5x to 2x is the appropriate length.
$3 pack of 2mm thickness black craft foam sheets do well and washable, available at popular bookstore. There are other material in darker shade of black but may not be washable.

Cannot.
That 20mm 66* eyepiece (orion expanse unbranded version) require exact centering of eyeball , or else all sort of funny blue yellow lateral colour will appear at the edge during daytime viewing. No problem at night though ...

For ebay.com.sg (computer browser not mobile)
navigate left side of search result and tick the box worldwide, it will show much more china sellers with free international shipping

The ostara need shipping cost , overall $60 for brandless single-coated plossl I would say not worth it.

The seben/orbinar looks ok , can read the reviews on amazon.co.uk most users are happy with it no major issue. http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews ... TEWPT9SWXF

hi Jerison, if you dont mind paying abit more for another design other than for a plossl, I can recommend this eyepiece line, i had the Photon 18mm and used it for public events , made of ED glass and Eyepiece FOV is 60degs.

http://www.kkohki.com/products/photon.html

It was sold during the recent Equip fest...but u can google AstroTech Paradigm eyepieces or BST explorer Series or Starguider ED eyepieces for online reviews. Affordable and good peformance rating. (They are all clones, OEM is a china optical factory)
