if it is on, u may come by from 830pm onwards. depending on sky conditions, we could stay till 10-11ish? or even later if exceptional!

now that i read more about vc200l... i'm getting ichi and think "might as well buy a new one!"
Just check the cost and hope my bonus this year will be enough to buy it haha...

don't forget the reducer for the VC200L if u plan to use it for DSO imaging! which means also getting an OAG, or a guidescope setup, plus reticle, and then...solid-state battery, more weights, etc......kiddin'

Good choice! :P

Haha... but the SXW is not manual friendly.
Some sites actually recommends the GP2D that can do both GOTO and Manual.
But the Starbook coloring seems to be very attractive haha

Notice that Beck has a GP2D with the starbook S too.

Do you mind providing some user feedbacks?

Thanks a bunch!

Soz, I didn't see this thread till today.
Unfortunately I can't come due to work. But you're welcome to pop over to Punggol with me if the weather clears and I'm not at work or with my family :)
Heh.... I have the battery, 5kg weight, focal reducer (in the mail). So all I need now is a guider and guide ring (OTA came with 8" CNC rings) which I'm trying to avoid for now. At any rate I can't do more than 10s on an average night at f/10, ISO 6400 before the skyfog reaches mid-histo on the camera. Addition of Astronomik UHC gave me up to 30s but the skyfog is again at mid histo. Ah well.

hi Cloudcover,
would love to drop by your place sometimes lol

After calculations of my budget i'm sad to say i dun think getting a GPD2-S + VC200l is possible... Which is a sad thing.

But luckily i am still able to get a C8 XLT with a used GOTO mount with my budget... lol

So the hunting begins for the scope and mount. lol
