anyone has the Vixen LVW eyepieces?

Actually, I very nearly became an owner of one, just that a few moments after I placed my order for a LVW, I saw the very first announcement of the Pentax XL on Singastro and had my order changed from LVW to XL immediately :lol:

tHE LVW has an advantage of both 2' and 1.25". But teh number of elements are scary...up to 8!

I have LVW 13 mm EP, bought from Tokyo last month. I can comment only on the physical properties as I have not yet used it.

It is awfully heavy (480 grams) and it can even tip my 8 in DOB off balance.

Thanks Kochu....

I will bring it to Sam's house to test. He has quite a few other eyepieces around that 12-16mm range. Good to do a bit of comparison for the
benefit of the community here.

Once testing is finished, I will post up a review here. This will increase our knowledge base in Singastro..

Wow thanks guys!! Looking forward to read the review 8) I have a Siebert 19mm and Pentax XL 21mm. Anyone wants to borrow them for a comparison too? :D
