Camera Backpack to recommend?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Camera Backpack to recommend?

Post by oxygn »

Hi guys,

Am looking around for a camera backpack to hold the following equipment:
1) C5 OTA
2) 6x50 right angle finder
3) Telrad
4) 2" 40mm ep
5) 2" 30mm ep
6) 1.25" 25mm ep
7) 1.25" 12.5mm ep
8) 1.25" 5mm ep
9) 2" Barlow
10) 2" diagonal
11) LPR, NBP filters

I've done an estimate and i think i would need a bag with roughly 7 compartments excluding one big one for the c5. was looking at the lowepro bags, like pro trekker super trekker etc. Anyone can recommend a bag to hold these equipments for travelling and brining on board the aircraft?

Thanks,

I strongly recommend the Lowepro backpack, some even have provision for note book compartment and weather proof hood. They are all very well made and durable.

A word of caution - the lowepro backpack is NOT waterproof, as those who went with me on my last Mersing trip can testify. However, if you pull the rain cover over it, that may help.

Brand - Urbanz.
Model - dunno, its the laptop/camera combi.
Price - $40+ (great value! cheaper than Lowepro)
Where to buy - now it is no more available at West Mall.
Photo - I helped Clement to buy one too, you can check his or mine.

I can also put in the 80mm short-tube instead of the C5+.
