Why you should just get a dob :)

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

haha true. :) Gotos are great when they work. But the moon, star and the sun must all be aligned lor... -->
If the battery isn't dead. If the 12V plug doesn't work loose from the socket. If the scope is balanced properly. If the clutch doesn't slip. If the alignment is done properly. If Autostar doesn't act up. If you don't bump the scope accidentally. :mrgreen: :)

Ha ha ha... that's why I'm still using an EQ mount with only motor drive... even if my battery is "dead" (Touch Wood), I still can do manually tracking by only turning a single axis (RA). :P
