Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Build A Model Solar System

Post by Gary »

Bought the first issue at Borders last Saturday at $5.90. 51 more issues at $12.90 *EACH* to go! LOL

Anyone else collecting or already bought the fully assembled set? :)

Sorry my bad. Forget to add the word "each". LOL

For the rest of the 51 issues, yes. Try the non-Singapore weblink from the mainpage. Can buy the full set fully assembled. :)

Looks nice and would have got one if cheaper but you could get an Ethos for that money! :)

True. But if you are doing astro outreach, that can be a very good resource.

This is like... the astro version of mcdonalds collectible toys.

yes. I saw the first issue too but 51 issues to build it. What if the magazine goes bust and you can't find one issue? Previously I was building a robot through these weekly magazines. Quality is good. If you do finish it, do post it here and have a house warming for us to see it [smilie=cute.gif]
And they included Pluto! Yeah! I like it already!

Reminds me of the one I saw in the movie "Pitch Black". [smilie=cool.gif]

Is there anyway to just buy this kit without buying it every week?

I bought one issue in Tokyo - it was the Japanese version. Did not manage to get started as I missed the other issues!
