I think it has also to do with the sinking USD ...

And also new product tend to be priced at a premium.

I remembered SXD was 3599 usd ... now optcorp is selling 2499 usd

If you look at it ... when SXD was new launch a new a year and a half ago ...... $3599usd x 1.65 exchange is about sgp $6000 sing $.

Now is 2499 x 1.31 exchange is about sgp $3273 including including free delivery - About half the price.

Looks like an AP900 would be a better choice for similar price..
