Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.
When do you intend to organize another sidewalk session? I have a C8 which I am dying to share with the public! Although knowledge wise I still think I have a long way to go, I hope to be able to contribute to astro awareness in SG. Will look forward to joining you guys at Bishan park soon!

Hi Joshua. Nowadays, for sidewalk sessions at Bishan Park, it will most probably on a weekend when the sky is clear enough. In addition to checking this thread, you may also follow the Bishan Park group on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/SingaporeSidewalkAstronomy) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/BishanParkAstro). This coming weekend is highly unlikely for us to have a stargazing session at Bishan Park.
Good to hear you have the passion to share the views with the public! Don't let the apparent lack of knowledge bother you. Nobody knows everything about everything. Most public are just happy to see the objects and finding out basic information about them and your telescope. C8 is a versatile telescope. Hope to see yours in action someday!

Its great giving others the opportunity to have a look at whats out there! I did organise a mini session for my neighbours and they were really enthusiastic! Do you intend to organise one at Bishan Park this coming Friday(weather permitting)? I would really like to bring my scope along to share with others and of course, to learn from the pros!
Thanks Dave for organising the sidewalk! Didn't see any meteors but Scorpius and Sagittarius and Summer Triangle was quite clear. Had a good revision of the hidden treasures there while showing them to the public through an 80mm ED and a 8" dob.
