Count me in. Will try to get the missus to come along, so you guys can convince her why it's absolutely necessary that I buy a telescope, even if costs a leg and an arm. OK?

A scope doesn't need to cost an arm and a leg

Unless you want to do photography!
I find that the simpler ( and cheaper) it is, the more it gets used!

@Vijay - If the weather is good, remember to come early before Moon sets to increase your chances of getting a telescope-owning permit.
