without a problem in a clear sky, even a 70mm is good to view the moon.. unless it is very cloudy...

ISON looking ever more the potential it could hype out to be! At the time of this post it should be around magnitude 9. Seems that it is decreasing its apparent magnitude at a rate of 1 weekly. For now.

ISON is reportedly in outburst! Estimates put it at magnitude 5 or 6, at the edge of naked eye visibilty under dark skies.

Oh great! And also oh drats! Finally Ison has sprung out of its lethargy, but it's been so cloudy in Singapore for the past several nights. Comet Ison has quite classic-looking long comet tails, I think both dust and ion/gas tails.
For us in Singapore, the period from around 15 to 23 Nov would be the prime time to view Comet Ison (in terms of brightness and visibility). After 23 Nov it would be too near to the Sun, up till around 20 Dec (but it would be low above the horizon then anyway).
