Hi,
We were there testing out my old scope, Celestron Omni 6" F5 Achromatic Refractor, under dark sky... the scope perform better than we expected especially at super low power... Pentax 40mm XW... ~19x with 3.7 degree of stars and nebula... WOW!

Also, took a few test shots with my tokina 11-16mm at wide open to test the wide open performance for wide field Astrophotography. As long as you don't pixel peep, it's look quite nice... ha ha ha :mrgreen:

Will need to do a few more test to find the best setting for this lens for wide field Astrophotography use. Below are the two shots:

The C150R f/5 achro performed superbly with 17mm ethos and 8mm ethos too!

...and I also tested 14mm/f2.8 wide open on 6D. Photos cropped slighly but otherwise unedited, so the milky way in photo is close to what we saw with our naked eyes. The sky transparency was very good that night.
